Compress & Convert ("we", "our", or "the service") is a suite of free file tools provided by DebugGo. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our tools at debuggo.id/compress and related pages.

We are committed to your privacy. All file processing is performed locally in your browser using JavaScript — no files are ever sent to our servers.

2. Your Files

The most important thing to know: your files never leave your device.

When you use our Image Compressor, Image Converter, or PDF Compressor, your files are processed using browser-native APIs (Canvas API and pdf-lib). This means:

• No files are uploaded to our servers
• No files are stored or cached in the cloud
• We cannot see, access, or read any file you process
• Closing the browser tab immediately removes all traces of your files

3. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or process:

• Any images, PDFs, or other files you process
• File names, file sizes, or file content
• Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• Payment information (our tools are free)

4. Information We Automatically Collect

Like most websites, our servers may automatically receive basic technical information when you visit, including:

• Your IP address (anonymized)
• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• Pages visited and time of visit
• Referring URL

This information is used solely for security monitoring and to understand general usage patterns. It is not linked to any personal identity and is not shared with third parties.

We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We do not store any file-related data in localStorage or sessionStorage. If any session cookies are used, they are strictly necessary for the website to function and contain no personal information.

6. Third-Party Services

Our tools load the following third-party resources:

• Google Fonts (Inter) — for typography. Google may log font requests per their own privacy policy.
• Font Awesome (via Cloudflare CDN) — for icons. The CDN provider may log basic request data.
• pdf-lib (via unpkg CDN) — for PDF processing. unpkg may log CDN request data. The library itself runs entirely in your browser.
• JSZip (via cdnjs CDN) — for ZIP file creation. The CDN provider may log basic request data. The library runs entirely in your browser.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising networks.

7. Children's Privacy

Our tools are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Data Security

Because all file processing happens locally in your browser, there is no file data transmitted over the internet that we would need to secure. Our website is served over HTTPS to protect basic browsing activity.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our tools after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
