Logikanya sederhana: kalau banyak website terpercaya merekomendasikan konten-mu, Google menganggap konten-mu layak dipercaya juga. Tapi mendapatkan backlink berkualitas tidak harus dengan membeli atau menggunakan cara yang melanggar guidelines Google.
Guest Posting
Tulis artikel untuk blog atau media lain di bidang yang sama, dan cantumkan link kembali ke website-mu dalam artikel tersebut. Ini cara paling klasik dan masih sangat efektif. Targetkan website yang relevan dengan topik website-mu dan punya traffic nyata — bukan blog asal-asalan. Di Indonesia, media seperti Dicoding, Medium Indonesia, atau blog komunitas developer adalah tempat yang baik untuk mulai.
Broken Link Building
Cari halaman di website lain yang punya link rusak (404) menuju konten yang mirip dengan milikmu. Hubungi pemilik website dan informasikan bahwa salah satu link mereka rusak, sekaligus tawarkan konten-mu sebagai pengganti. Untuk menemukan broken link, gunakan Ahrefs Webmaster Tools atau ekstensi Chrome seperti Check My Links.
Direktori dan Profil Komunitas
Daftarkan website atau profilmu di direktori bisnis yang relevan dan komunitas IT Indonesia — seperti profil GitHub yang lengkap, Dicoding, id.linkedin.com, atau direktori startup lokal. Ini backlink yang mudah didapat dan datang dari domain yang sudah punya otoritas.
Buat Konten yang Layak Dikutip
Ini strategi jangka panjang tapi paling powerful: buat satu konten yang sangat komprehensif dan tidak mudah ditandingi — disebut linkable asset. Bisa berupa panduan definitif, riset original dengan data, infografis, atau tools gratis. Konten semacam ini cenderung mendapat backlink secara organik karena orang lain merujuknya saat menulis artikel mereka sendiri.
Yang Harus Dihindari
Jangan beli backlink dari layanan bulk link building. Jangan ikut skema pertukaran link massal. Google sangat pintar mendeteksi pola backlink yang tidak natural, dan hukumannya bisa berupa penurunan ranking drastis atau deindexing. Satu backlink dari website terpercaya yang relevan nilainya jauh lebih besar dari 100 backlink dari website spam.

Create Citation-Worthy Content
This is a long-term strategy but the most powerful: create a content that is very comprehensive and not easily matched — called linkable asset. Can be a definitive guide, original research with data, infographics, or free tools. This kind of content tends to get backlinks organically because other people refer to it when writing their own articles.
SHOULD BE AVOIDED
Don't buy backlinks from bulk link building services. Do not follow bulk link exchange schemes. Google is very good at detecting unnatural backlink patterns, and the penalty can be a drastic ranking drop or deindexing. One backlink from a relevant trusted website is worth far more than 100 backlinks from a spam website.
